This position is IT Lead in Global Manufacturing organization for delivering Cybersecurity requirements and is based in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This role influences and partners with GPS (Global manufacturing and product supply) IT, Global Business Applications and Global Manufacturing Operations to identify, implement and or evolve digital capabilities that have the greatest impact globally.
Evolves and owns the Lifecycle Management Strategy for sites and oversees Lifecycle Management for site owned GMP Systems ( this would reinforce Digital Modernization Program); coordinates with business application teams to ensure alignment of all systems deployed to sites.
Evolves and owns the Software Maintenance strategy (including patch management) and oversees Software Maintenance for GMP Systems
Evolves Cyber Architecture Principles for GMP Sites with BMS cybersecurity team (this provides the blue print for how each site should be architected for maximum protection).
Enforces discipline on Cyber Hardening Operating Model Guidance (outlines what people resources are required to protect a site)
Facilitates yearly financial planning of the GPS Cyber Planning and Operations Program
Facilitates actions for Cyber Risk Management in GMP Sites (this sets the expectations for how these requirements will be assessed on a regular basis)
Facilitates metric reporting related to Cyber Operations and related projects
Communicates the cyber program roadmap and effectiveness to GPS and site IT leadership.
Understands plant applications and their use to articulate Cyber vulnerability impacts across sites.
Coordinates with enterprise Cyber Security teams and is the Incident Response partner for sites.
Coordinates the manufacturing Site Cyber network.
7+ years’ experience + Master’s Degree preferred
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and frameworks and how implemented in GMP setting. Cyber certification a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead the strategic planning and implementation of digital capabilities in multi-site global manufacturing network.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and partner with senior business leaders.
Strong knowledge of current good manufacturing/lab processes (GxP), particularly as relates to IT (21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, FDA Metrics, others).
