Job Description Responsible for planning, organization, staffing, controlling and directing daily and weekly operations of an area to meet department goals and production requirements. This includes coordinating activities with other areas or departments. Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production. Essential Functions: * Ensure daily production requirements are met. Job Knowledge & Skills - Demonstrate proficiency of assigned tasks/duties/responsibilities required to achieve customer satisfaction, including but not limited to SAP, Factory Talk and Kronos. Productivity - Engage in and anticipate the activities necessary to meet the changing needs of the business, with the highest possible level of efficiency. Quality - Produces results in a product and / or service that conforms to valid specifications, is free of defects, strives to reduce variation of the process and adds value for our customers. RA Values - Demonstrates understanding and supports company values, policies, and standards of business. Safety & Environmental - Demonstrates responsibility to work safety, participates in 5S, and report / correct safety concerns.
