Performs duties necessary to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings; assists in arranging furniture and equipment; maintains equipment and materials.
Primary Duties Performed
Performs housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of campus buildings:
Cleans restrooms and fixtures
Sweeps, scrubs, mops, buffs, and waxes floors
Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork and metalwork
Cleans and empties waste receptacles
Washes windows
Cleans classrooms, chalkboards, white boards, etc.
Vacuums and shampoos carpets; may clean vents and registers.
Assists in arranging furniture and equipment for special events
May set up or take down equipment when needed.
Assists with meeting set-up/break-down, risers, staging.
Maintains equipment and materials.
Moves furniture.
Reports safety and fire hazards and maintenance deficiencies.
May assist Grounds during weather emergencies
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and housekeeping experience. Valid driver's license and insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year housekeeping experience in an educational or non-profit setting.
Salary Range
$17.00 Per Hour
