• Associates (or higher) degree and three (3) years of related, non-teaching work experience in the designated field.
• The right candidate will have knowledge in many of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, PLC's, Automation, and Robotics.  
• Advanced knowledge of Advanced Manufacturing equipment and extensive on-the-job work experience to be able to convey this information to the students. 

• Prior online teaching experience 
• Experience building new curriculum
• NCCER Teacher qualifications and records management experience

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
 

• Develop curriculum for new programs and courses.
• Manage Manufacturing Lab and equipment
• Teach courses in Advanced Manufacturing at all levels, adult education, continuing education and credit courses. 
• Qualified applicants must be committed to student learning, integrating technology into the curriculum, and encouraging engaged scholars. 
• Develop and teach assigned classes in keeping with syllabi, outlines, and instructional materials. 
• Maintain accurate student records in compliance with Temple College requirements. 
• Submit required student reports according to schedule. 
• Direct, evaluate, and assess the learning experience of the students in accordance with adopted curricula and approved procedures. 
• Provide counsel/guidance to students when there is a need. 
• Trainers work 40 hours per week, participate in professional development activities, department and college committees, commencement, and other activities.  
• Develop lab concepts and design curriculum. 
• Professional Development for Advanced Certifications 
• Recruit for and promote Temple College and specific programs. 
• Participate in campus-related committees as needed. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 
• Review student records for retention issues; follow up on progress through personal contact and correspondence.
• Comply with policies established by federal and state law, The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Texas Education Agency, and Temple College Board.
• Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.
• Maintain a positive and effective relationship with supervisors and coworkers; communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents; present model behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Participate in professional development to improve skills related to job assignment annually.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and college goals.
• Comply with all Temple College and other appropriate agencies and partnerships safety policies, procedures, and practices.
• Assume all other duties as assigned by the VP of Workforce Development.
