Job Summary
ECTC is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Instructional Specialist to create high-quality advanced manufacturing courses for online and hybrid delivery, critical in advancing BlueOvalSK’s vision of providing world-class learning and development opportunities. Grant funding for the first two years.
Job Duties:
The Advanced Manufacturing Instructional Specialist works with faculty to provide educational design support, advice, needs-based training, and assistance for best practices, ADA compliance support, and quality assurance. The Advanced Manufacturing Instructional Specialist collaborates with other college staff members when appropriate.
• Develop curricula, course content, methods of instruction of instructional programs, and training schedules and establish course goals so that students can obtain a variety of skills. • Develop teaching aids, such as instructional software, multimedia visual aids, books, materials, supplies, and equipment for training, courses, or projects • Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual, to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts. • Monitor, evaluate and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction or record training activities or program effectiveness. • Deliver course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, handouts, lectures to students on topics such as industrial electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and robotics, and other disciplines contained within advanced manufacturing while presenting information with a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lecture using a variety of technology. • Evaluate and grade students class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers to determine progress, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvement. • Prepare reports and maintain records, such as student grades, attendance rolls, and training activity details. • Attends seminars, training sessions, and other events related to the development of new concepts and programs for Workforce Solutions • Attends seminars, training sessions, and other events related to the development of new concepts and programs for Workforce Solutions • Supervise independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work, or other training, tutorial, or remedial instruction. • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in classroom facilitation and experience working in an automotive manufacturing operations environment or equivalent.Â
Additional Skills Requested:
