Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Job Summary
The Associate II, Assembly plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Cardinal Health medical products. The Associate II, Assembly operates multiple machines at once and performs routine inspections of manufactured products in accordance with quality specifications. This job reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify route causes. This job ensures that manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport. The Associate II, Assembly tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Measures and records data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
Verifies outputs in the manufacturing process and ensures that quality and quantity standards are met.
Inspects components for debris, and or any other potential quality defect and reports defects as needed to management and the quality team.
Performs duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
