Clark College is currently seeking to fill a part-time Advanced Manufacturing Professor to cover requisite courses in the program outside the manufacturing core courses.
This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach in the daytime, evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.
This job position is at Clark College's Boschma Farms (Ridgefield) Center. The Advanced Manufacturing Department offers an Associate of Applied Technology, a Certificate of Proficiency (Manufacturing Operator), and a Certificate of Achievement (Intro to Manufacturing). Primary teaching duties include Manual, Additive, and Subtractive Manufacturing, Welding, Robotics, Applied Metrology, Computer Aided Machining, Systems Integration, and Blueprint and Schematics Reading. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the relevancy and alignment of the Advanced Manufacturing Program with current industry standards.

Instruct all classes as an expert in the discipline using active learning approaches that both engage and facilitate student learning.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advise and assist students in their educational and career development.
Participate in program, curriculum development and assessment activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners to create unique learning opportunities at Clark College.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor's degree in a discipline (or closely related field) related to the topics covered in the courses mentioned below.
Ability to teach the requisite courses in the Advanced Manufacturing curriculum, such as AM 150: Intro to Programming and Problem Solving, AM 108: Blueprint and Schematics Reading, AM 130: Intro to SolidWorks, and AM 102: OSHA Safety.
